Master A. Min teaching approach
I believe that all teachers can have superpowers, that we have the ability to change lives and guide children and adults to live more successful, happy, healthy and humbling lifestyles. That every student has the ability to do great things and achieve so much more than what they expected. Every student is different but they are all capable of doing amazing things (in Taekwondo and in life) as long as they focus on striving to be their best.
One major thing for me is that all children feel accepted and are accepted and will feel nothing but valued, important, safe, and accomplished in our Dojang. This kind of acceptance will help the future of our community and city be more safe and productive.

What she loves about Taekwondo at K. H. Min Taekwondo
I love everything about Taekwondo…absolutely everything! Taekwondo has been a part of my family my entire life and I think that because of Taekwondo’s teachings, my family is such a strong unit. Taekwondo holds such a high standard of Respect, Integrity, and Patience which teaches you to be a better sibling, parent, friend, neighbour, and life partner. There is also the physical attributes of Taekwondo, your body becomes stronger, you learn technically difficult material, body awareness and self-defense. Everything Taekwondo teaches you has something to do with self-defense. Being a better and kinder person is a form of self-defense, but if every needed, you can exert the confidence to either defend yourself or avoid a problem that was coming your way. Simply put, we don’t look like victims!
Most importantly, I LOVE being a role model for the younger generations. I can influence them to be kind, giving, patient, accepting and respectful individuals. When they doubt themselves, I love the fact that I can help them gain more confidence and show them that their hard work pays off.
Why she started training in Taekwondo
I started training in Taekwondo because my father was a Master and my older sisters had joined before me. To be totally honest, I also started because as a young little girl, I was difficult and challenging. I very early on “marched to the beat of my own drum” and at such a young age would find trouble easily. I am sure my parents couldn’t wait to put me in classes. I was also raised inside of the Dojang around strong people who were compassionate and hard working. I had no choice but to follow the same path as these were my influences. I began to love everything about Taekwondo and now decided to make it my full career path. This isn’t just a job….this is a passion that I get to wake up every day and enjoy.
